Another significant project won for the Broadhead Construction Group in 2013 is the complete construction of the new Agri Centre in Gore.  As well as showcasing the Broadhead Group’s pre-cast construction methods, one of the creative solutions which saved the community over $100,000 in construction was in fact a low-tech solution, which others hadn't thought of.

Chris Broadhead explains, “ There was a requirement for the events centre to have its own water source to operate the sprinkler system, some 250,000 litres. The usual design for such a system would see stainless steel tanks beside the building.  Given the rural location and available land around the events centre, we came up with an idea to dig a pond next door to the events centre large enough to hold the 250,000 litres.”

While the solution may be low tech, the innovative thinking on behalf of the client again demonstrates the Group’s ability to understand their customer’s needs to come up with best solution for the client.
