Early Learning Centre

Cunningham Building & Construction Ltd were absolutely thrilled to win the tender for the Southern Kids Early Learning Centre, knowing from past experience the thrill of delivering a learning centre for our younger generation to thrive and develop in was always a buzz, but seeing the plans and proposed equipment these lucky youngsters were going to receive was truely exciting.
Driven timber piles prior to the concrete foundations laid the solid platform for which this centre began. 150 x 150 timber framed walls with studs reaching 4.8m and 400cc made for solid timber construction. Mono pitch roof lines to allow for maximum sun advantage allows for natural heating methods along with the under floor heating and thermal insulation. Covered external heated play areas maximise comfort for the children, brightly coloured walls and play equipment make this a very eciting and comfortable learning facility.

NZAS
|

|
Cunningham Building & Construction have been involved in many projects at the New Zealand Aluminium Smelter (NZAS) including a major construction project in the Carbon/Anode handling area. More recently due to the quality of our employees CBC Ltd has been providing concrete/carpentry services for many projects in the high voltage switchyard, which requires comprehensive understanding of the surroundings and the Health & Safety aspect of working in this specialised critical part of the NZAS plant.
Due to the specific inductions and training in HV work this has led to other projects in both HV & LV yards for various supply authorities.
